Block Explorer

16/04/2026

A block explorer is a public web interface that lets anyone search and browse data recorded on a blockchain. It shows transactions, wallet addresses, blocks, fees, and confirmation counts in real time.

What you can look up

  • Transaction status — paste a TxID to see if a payment is confirmed, pending, or failed
  • Wallet balance — view the full transaction history and current balance of any address
  • Block data — see which transactions are included in each block, the miner, timestamp, and size
  • Network stats — current hashrate, difficulty, mempool size, average fees

Popular block explorers by network

Bitcoin mempool.space, blockstream.info
Litecoin litecoinspace.org
Kaspa explorer.kaspa.org
Ethereum etherscan.io
BNB Smart Chain bscscan.com

How miners use block explorers

  • Verify that a payout transaction was sent by the pool
  • Check how many confirmations a payout has before depositing to an exchange
  • Investigate a "stuck" or delayed transaction
  • Confirm a withdrawal arrived at the correct address
