Bitdeer (NASDAQ: BTDR) is a publicly traded Bitcoin mining company founded in 2021 as a spin-off from Bitmain. It operates large-scale mining facilities and manufactures its own line of ASIC miners under the Sealminer brand.
Bitdeer has mining operations in the United States, Norway, Bhutan, and other locations with access to cheap or renewable energy.
Sealminer product line
Bitdeer's Sealminer series targets the Bitcoin SHA-256 market and competes directly with Bitmain's Antminer S-series:
- Sealminer A1 — entry-level model, ~200 TH/s
- Sealminer A2 — mid-range, improved efficiency
- Sealminer A2 Pro — flagship model, 255 TH/s, ~16 J/TH
Bitdeer also develops its own ASIC chips (the SEAL series) instead of relying on third-party chip manufacturers.
